TAMPA BAY — The goal was to play in the NFL by the start of the 2023 campaign.
Brandon Bouyer-Randle, a resident of Battle Creek, has realized his dream.
In a moment Bouyer-Randle had been anticipating his entire life, the 2016 Battle Creek Central alumnus signed his NFL contract
on Wednesday to join the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' practice squad.
On Wednesday, Bouyer-Randle remarked over the phone from Tampa Bay's training camp,
"It feels good to sign, it feels wonderful. "Tuesday, I had a verbal commitment that, if I passed waivers, they would sign me to the practice squad.
However, it only becomes official when the document is actually signed.
Amazingly cool. It's almost relieving. I was successful in completing my goal.
