'Blockbuster' Trade Pitch Brings $130 Million Rebounding Champ to Suns
Lee Tran of Fadeaway World's "blockbuster" trade proposition would net the Phoenix Suns a $130 million rebounding champion.
Tran offered the following trade between the Suns and the Atlanta Hawks on August 23
Capela averaged 12.0 points and 11.0 rebounds in 65 games with the Hawks last season, shooting 65.3% from the field.
He signed a two-year, $45.5 million extension with Atlanta in September 2021, and when his current
contract expires after the 2024-25 season, he would have earned more than $130 million in his career.
Capela, 29, will make $20.6 million next season after starting his career with the Houston Rockets
With the Rockets and Hawks, he averaged 12.4 points and 10.7 rebounds per game.
In this deal scenario, the Suns would also obtain Bey from the Hawks in exchange for Ayton.
