Colorado head coach Deion Sanders told Colorado State coach Jay Norvell about their post-game
handshake on Saturday afternoon, hours before their highly anticipated game.
Sanders discussed his spat with Norvell, which began when the Colorado State football coach mocked
Sanders' characteristic look, on FOX Sports' "Big Noon Kickoff".
"I sat down with ESPN today and I don't care if Boulder hears it," Norvell said Wednesday on his radio show.
"I told them, 'When I talk to grown-ups, I take my hat and glasses off.'"
I learned that from my mother."Sanders took the joke and gave his squad sunglasses on Friday.
