NHL Trade Rumors: The Edmonton Oilers' next big signing might be worth $27,500,000. Seattle Kraken defenseman

The Edmonton Oilers are preparing for the NHL season, but it's never too early to examine trade possibilities.

General manager Ken Holland is known for trade deadline activity.

Holland may make major moves again if this is his last season.

The Edmonton Oilers' purchase of Mattias Ekholm last season was rather improbable.

The question is if Holland can make another game-changing trade this year.

Holland may pursue an unrestricted free agent, but it's unclear.

According to Liam Horrobin of Oilers Nation, 34-year-old Seattle Kraken right-winger Jordan Eberle is a promising option.

Eberle has had two 20-goal seasons with the Kraken.Jordan Eberle had impressive offensive figures in 2022-2023.

He scored 20 goals and gave 63 assists in 82 games. He scored six goals in 14 games and helped them reach the playoffs.

Jordan Eberle would provide scoring to the Edmonton Oilers' already strong roster and improve their right-side depth.
