With the 2023 NFL season starting in less than a week, let's take a look at the newest crop of North Dakotans aspiring to play professionally.
Cody Mauch, G, North Dakota State - Mauch has been designated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' starting
right guard and will make his NFL debut against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, September 10.
Hunter Luepke, FB, NDSU - Luepke made the Dallas Cowboys' 53-man roster and has the potential to play a significant role on the team's starting offense.
Nash Jensen, G, North Dakota State — Jensen was named to the Carolina Panthers' 53-man roster and will serve as a backup guard.
Noah Gindorff, TE, NDSU - Gindorff was cut by the Seattle Seahawks after being signed as an undrafted free agent. Gindorff has since worked out with the Pittsburgh Steelers but is yet to sign with a new team.
Spencer Waege, NDSU DL - Waege signed as an undrafted free agent with the San Francisco 49ers
but was released this past weekend. Waege has not signed with a new squad as of yet.
