Women's soccer travels to Northeastern on Sunday.

The Boston University women's soccer team plays Northeastern on Sunday (Sept. 3) in preparation for its 2023 non-conference road finale. Opening kick is 6 p.m.

After two games away from Nickerson Field, BU (2-2-1) seeks its first road win of the year.

Terriers have one string of consecutive road games left in the regular season.

Northeastern (2-2-0) finishes a three-game homestand on Sunday. UConn is 1-1 on the slate. 

Northeastern's non-conference finale is Sunday before CAA play begins Thursday (Sept. 7).

Sunday's game airs on NESN+ and FloFC. New Englanders with NESN 360 or TV providers can watch for free. The FloFC subscription can be canceled at any time.  

BU lost 3-0 against #20 Northwestern on Thursday (Aug. 31). Junior goalkeeper Celia Braun saved six, four in the first half.

Thursday was the first time in five games the Terriers trailed after 45 minutes. 

Vermont and UAlbany led BU, while Rhode Island and UConn were scoreless.

Justin Jefferson, the defending Offensive Player of the Year, and Jordan Addison, a freshman on the other side, are surprise candidates for 1,000 yards.
